Infected media

For his record Blaster released on the Berlin-based label PAN, artist James Hoff used the Blaster computer virus to warp beats from the 808 drum machine into a fungal aural mass. I took a parallel path and re purposed velocity render passes from a discarded commercial video piece and tied them to the waveforms to create something distinctly visually raw tightly tied to computational leftovers.
